I'd like to introduce myself and let you know a little about me and the company.
I'm Glenda Whitehead, the owner of Patchwork Pup. I've been running the business since it was started in March of 2000. I have a full time job at Spirit Aerosystems in Tulsa, OK, and I still continue to keep Patchwork Pup moving along.
The company started as a speciality and custom embroidery business and has expanded to help veterans get the items they would like at a reasonable price. I started helping the local chapter of the Vietnam Veterans of America with their Stand Down, where they feed and clothe the homeless in the area. I became so involved that I joined the Associates of Vietnam Veterans of America even though I'm not a veteran. My father served in Korea, and I'm very proud of him and of all veterans. I'm very patriotic and have been long before Sept. 11. I found there to be a need with the Vietnam veterans for shirts, hats, pins, patches, and vests that would show the Vietnam service ribbons. We soon realized that all veterans needed access to custom items pertaining to their service. Thus we have evolved into a speciality store for veterans. We still do custom embroidery for any occasion and have many designs to choose from. Because of our patriotism, we carry many patriotic designs to choose from in embroidery and transfers.
With time the company has expanded into helping the Masonic organizations get the quality items they would like at a reasonable price. I grew up in a Masonic household & joined Rainbows & continued into Eastern Star. My husband is active in Blue Lodge, Demolays, & Grotto
Others have asked and we now have a full line of leather products for dress, casual, or motorcyclists. We do patches for motorcycle groups as well, at both the small and national level.
If you don't see what you would like, please let us know and we'll do our best to get the item for you. Let us hear from you as we enjoy hearing from all of our visitors!
